"I need you to understand something before I kill you," she whispered softly.
"I want you to think about everything you’ve done in your life that has led up to this moment," she hissed directly into her victims ear.
"I want you to think that if you had done a single thing differently, you wouldn’t be in this … situation."
"Go ahead,just torture yourself with the possibilities. Maybe if you had turned onto a different street while going to work you may have survived and fallen in love with the girl you met in the parking lot. Or maybe if you had gone to your regular cafe you wouldn’t have stumbled in upon … well you know what I mean."
She sat in silence for a minute.
"But you should know, the whole point of all of this, is that that didn’t happen. You are going to die and there is nothing you can do about a single damn thing," and with those words, she fired a bullet into his head.
